When
it comes to costing, we have done our homework to the dot. We
regularly conduct Crop Surveys on crop growth patterns and yields. We
advise our clients on the ideal time of the season of purchasing and covering
their requirements. By keeping a constant watch on the market, a continuous
Price Trend Analysis is done to estimate future
prices.
A periodical Analysis of Critical Costs incurred in every
order is done to ensure elimination of non-value adding costs throughout
the supply chain.

STORAGE

coal turns to diamond with proper storage. We take this principle to heart
in our warehouses.
Special care has been taken at all our warehouses to ensure
that effective control mechanisms are in place to prevent entry of insects
and other harmful organisms as per the demanding guidelines of The Spices
Board and The Indian Oil Producers' & Exporters' Association.
The warehouses are well lit with ample aeration & ventilation
to ensure that the temperature is maintained cool and humidity is very low. |

Quality
was ingrained in the warehouses from their planning and construction stage
itself. All the warehouses have been made at higher plinths, are smoothly
cemented and covered with damp proof flooring. The roofing is made to guarantee
against leakage or seepage of any kind. Inside the warehouse, guidelines
and methods are developed for Scientific Stacking and Storing so that there
is minimal possibility of damage even if the goods have to be stored for
a long time. Areas have been demarcated for cargo, leaving sufficient space
for movement of men and material and for fumigation procedures.
All the warehouses have a periodical fumigation and disinfection
programme which is rigorously implemented.

Coast ensure that the logistics of transportation and shipment are worked

We assist our buyers in planning their shipments well in advance
by constantly updating them on the liner schedules. A constant monitoring of vessel movements
in the Mumbai

and the Kandla
Port helps them in obtaining the exact status of their shipments.
We also undertake consolidation of cargo so that our clients
can maximise savings on freight by optimum usage of
space and weight. This also gives flexibility to our clients to purchase
