"The Spices Board of India and the All India Spice Exporters' Forum have organised the biennial World Spice Congress 2000 from 27th Jan to 29th Jan 2000 in Bombay."

The event will focus on the significance of Spices as an important food ingredient and dwelve into avenues of cooperation between importers & exporters.

The 5th World Spice Congress will focus on New trends in the Spice Industry

The success of the previous Congress since 1990 is evident in the growing participation of overseas & domestic delegates and the increase in the number of countries represented in the Congress.

The focus of this Congress is significant as it does not consider Spices in isolation as a Commodity but as an important food ingredient. This widens the scope and is an effective pointer to the emerging trend worldwide of Decommoditising. It also opens a wide potential for cooperation between Importers' and Exporters' to view themselves as Partners in the final Food Package offered to the Consumers.

With the help of latest Information Technology, it is now possible to view the entire supply chain without any Geographical Boundaries. This development is greatly beneficial for the Importers and Manufacturers of Food Products to view the Supply base in the exporting country as a part of their own facility for quality control.

Samex Agency will be represented by Mr. Hemen Ruparel in the Congress. All of us at Samex Agency wish to cordially invite the delegates for a meeting in Bombay at our Office with prior appointments on Tel. No: 3424101 / 3428953.

Samex Agency, has always considered itself as a part of the buyer's manufacturing facility. We find that there is a convergence of interest of all buyers for Quality Assurance, Fast and efficient logistics and Cost effective Pricing. Therefore, we have developed our Own Units at Kandla, Bombay & Cochin (effectively covering the entire Western Coast of India), equipped them with facilities for Quality Control and tied-up with reputed Laboratories for In Process Quality Control.

The timing of the Congress coincides with the arrival of the New harvest for most of the Spices. Please contact us for special deals and offers to take advantage of the arrival of the New Harvest.

With a view for evolving a mutually beneficial relation, we invite all delegates to view our facilities and invite their comments, views and recommendations for further improvements. The final objective always remaining complete Customer Satisfaction.
